Spent yesterday building something new: RocketAdds, a self-automated advertising tool. It went from first line of code to fully implemented in about 24 hours, bugs ironed out overnight and the whole thing live at 8am this morning.
The idea behind it is simple to say and a lot harder to build: hand it a URL, and it learns what it's looking at well enough to generate a full advertising campaign from it. No manual brief, no asset-gathering, no guesswork about what the product or page is actually selling. Feed it the link, and RocketAdds works out the pitch itself.
How it's structured
Under the hood, RocketAdds runs on 8 pipelines, each handling a different stage of campaign generation and auto-learning from the source URL. Rather than being a single script that spits out an ad and stops, it keeps evaluating its own output: enhance, evaluate, improve, repeat. It connects directly to social media so the campaigns it builds don't just sit in a folder, they go live and get managed from the same place they were created.
That whole process — generation, connection, learning, improvement — is wrapped in a comprehensive 8-stage deployment shell. Longtime readers will recognise the number: it's the same production discipline PMD Services already runs every app through (Conceive, Framework, Design, Artwork, Build, Assess, Audit, Testing). RocketAdds applies that same rigour to its own output, not just to its own build.
What RocketAdds does, in one line
Whole advertising campaign management in a single tool: auto-generate from a URL, connect to social media, then learn, evaluate and improve the ads over time.
It's early days. The build is done and it's running, but the real test is what the campaigns actually do once they're out in the wild. I'll post an update once there's enough data to say whether it's working the way I think it will.
